Aside from collecting, summarizing and editing the textual materials of regular exhibitions and activities held in CAFAM, this Yearbook reviews and studies the history of CAFAM. In 2014, a series of exclusive interviews on the history of the relief sculptures housed in CAFA's art museum was conducted. In the section "Study on Art Museum," several papers on exhibition curation and narration and education of art museums are collected to fully reflect on and sort out the construction and development of art museums. In the section "Exhibition and Research," the exhibition The Invisible Hand: Curating as Gesture — The Second CAFAM Biennale, independently curated by CAFAM, is listed as a feature exhibition. Besides, there are another 28 important exhibitions such as Contemporary Photography in China, 2009-2014, and The Oil Painting of Chinese Style — Retrospective Exhibition of Dong Xiwen on His 100th Birthdayunder the Hundred Years of Glory • Art Master of CAFA. In terms of the section “Academic Activities and Research", CAFAM conducted the series activities of "Contemporary Academic Open Classroom", and symposiums on Culture in Dialoguesand Dong Xiwen and Oil Painting of Chinese Style, involving frontline thinking on contemporary academic researches, or monographic studies of masters in the art history. In the section Collection Updates and Relevant Researches, the collections of CAFAM in 2014 are presented, and relevant information is revealed to the public from the Yearbook. It also includes exhibition materials, lecture and forum minutes, and academic research papers in 2014.
