Summary

由中央美术学院人文学院曹庆晖教授领衔编著的《新中国美术家·滑田友》,基于2021年策划实施的“勿失毋忘—— 雕塑家滑田友诞辰120周年纪念展”的研究积累。该展以曹庆晖教授提出的“艺术物料学”为指导,深入挖掘有助于认识滑田友艺术实践发生的多方面过程性物料,特别注意对滑田友留学时期的绘画、雕塑作品以及照片、通信、证件等物料的展示,特别注意对滑田友雕塑创作原作、滑田友拍摄作品照片以及日后作品铸铜之间的梳理和区分,特别注意将滑田友在创作与教学方面的思考文本和他的创作实践成果有逻辑地编辑在展示空间中,特别注意以富有现实根据的思路去组织此前外界并不了解的滑田友的考察和读书活动,公开了他踏察中国传统雕塑拍摄的资料照片以及从海外带回的外版藏书。在中央美术学院美术馆展出时,通过多途径传播,收到来自专业和社会领域的积极评价。此次图录编辑,一方面是以平面的方式重新编辑展览空间的剧情结构和物料内容,细化文件资料,突出编辑重点,强调阅读节奏,另一方面又将展览落地后发生的教学与研究编辑其中,加强展览延伸,深入专题研究,以构成一个策划展览、教学推广与美术史研究相结合的中国现代美术研究的展览文本。

Edited by Prof. Cao Qinghui of the School of Humanities at the Central Academy of Fine Arts, the book is based on the research accumulated in the "Don't Lose, Don't Forget: The 120th Anniversary of the Birth of the Sculptor Hua Tianyou," which was planned and implemented in 2021. The exhibition is guided by the "art materialology" proposed by Prof. Cao Qinghui, and explores in-depth the various process materials that contribute to the understanding of the artistic practice of Hua Tianyou, paying special attention to the exhibition of paintings and sculptures as well as photographs, correspondences, and documents during the period of his study abroad, and to the original sculptures, photographs of his works, and casts of his later works. Special attention is paid to sorting out and distinguishing between the original sculptures, photographs of his works, and the cast bronzes of his later works; special attention is paid to editing the texts of Tomo's reflections on creation and teaching and the results of his creative practice in the exhibition space in a logical manner; special attention is paid to organizing Tomo's study tours and book reading activities, which were previously unknown to the outside world, with realistic ideas; and disclosure of the photographs taken by Tomo of his footsteps in traditional Chinese sculpture and the foreign edition books he brought back from overseas. The exhibition was held at the Art Museum of the Central Academy of Fine Arts. When the exhibition was shown at the Art Museum of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, it was disseminated through various channels and received positive comments from both the professional and social fields. The editing of the catalogue, on the one hand, is to re-edit the plot structure and material content of the exhibition space in a flat manner, to refine the documentary materials, to highlight the editing focus, and to emphasize the rhythm of reading; on the other hand, it also edits the teaching and research that occurred after the exhibition was put on the ground, to strengthen the extension of the exhibition, and to deepen the thematic research, in order to constitute an exhibition text combining the planning of the exhibition, the promotion of the teaching, and the research on the history of art, and the research of the modern art in China.
