山高海远 学子归巢——我馆接受黄绍京作品捐赠

近来,中央美术学院美术馆持续推动基础馆藏建设,完善20世纪中央美术学院教学与美育成果的馆藏序列建设,尤其注重重要教学成果的征集收藏,填补空白,促进对于中央美术学院美术教育的历史研究。


2021年,安徽籍老校友黄绍京先生的遗孀郭鸿玲女士联系美术馆无偿捐赠其代表作品,以表达黄绍京生前对于母校的感恩之情。在双方友好沟通和协商之下,黄绍京作品捐赠项目已于2022年9月顺利完成。



1953年,黄绍京考入中央美术学院,1958年毕业后分配到青海,在大学美术教师的岗位上工作了二十七年。后因家庭原因调回老家安徽合肥工作和生活,直到病故。


2000年,黄绍京先生因病不幸去世,其作品一直由夫人郭鸿玲守护,二老厮守一生,极重感情,并希望将自己的艺术回馈社会。2011年,曾向安徽博物院无偿捐赠近500余幅作品。2021年夏天,郭鸿玲女士也不幸罹患癌症,代黄绍京完成用艺术作品回报母校的遗愿——向中央美术学院美术馆无偿捐赠作品,也成为了郭鸿玲女士心中最后的牵挂。在黄绍京生前的学生胡云丽、高飞的积极联络之下,黄绍京家属向美术馆正式表达了捐赠意愿。美术馆十分重视这批藏品,积极推动捐赠项目的开展。2022年8月,病重的郭鸿玲女士右手已不能握笔,她在病床上签署捐赠协议,其签名是用左手颤抖着写下。令人感动的是,她说别无他愿,只想表达对中央美术学院美术馆收藏作品的感谢之情。最终,33件能代表中央美术学院教学成果和黄绍京个人创作风格的优秀作品得以入藏美术馆。黄绍京及家人在生命与艺术的终点,始终惦念母校,他的作品终于代替他完成学子归巢,向母校汇报自己的艺术成果。家属也对母校给予自己全部的信任,无偿捐赠黄绍京的作品,对于此次家属的慷慨捐赠,我馆深表敬意和谢忱。美术馆后续会妥善保管、修复、研究和展示,这一批珍贵的校友作品。

艺术旷野上开掘探井的画家

——黄绍京的矛盾空间绘画

虽然和绍京同窗共读了好几年,直到最近,我刚从资料中得知他中学毕业后曾被保送到哈尔滨军事工程学院,只是一个偶然的机会才又与傅小石一起双双被中央美术学院录取。


这两所著名的学校,艺术与科学的最高学府恰是分别代表着人类文化成果与思维方式的两端。

黄绍京具备学习理工科的知识基础与素质,又具有学习艺术的天赋与热情,似乎是有些矛盾的双方,纠缠着统一在他身上,统一在他的生命历程中。


他心地善良,胸无城府,口无遮拦,热情而率真,他思维活跃,性格独特,珍重友谊,而又理性冷峻,他是一个不肯拿原则做交易而只“认死理”的人。理想与现实的矛盾,理智与感情的冲突,不善处理这种矛盾的绍京常不被人理解而以为是个“怪人”。

绍京的艺术恰如他的人生。他是五十年代中央美术学院油画系五年制的首届毕业生,在众多名师的指点下他打下相当扎实的基本功,本可以驾轻就熟顺路而行,以他的基础与旺盛的精力或许不会有多大的风险与困难,就可以在艺术的长途攀登中取得一定的高度。

可是“怪人”黄绍京偏偏有一颗不安分、不满足的心,有一个爱思考、爱钻研的大脑。作为一个中国视觉艺术家,他不满足西方艺术家们的焦点透视,那种以各种灭点定理来确定物体大小、表现空间的教学系统,那种以视网膜映像为基础,受视网膜机制、生理机制制约的科学真实的视觉观。

作为一个现代艺术家,他也不完全满足于中国传统的散点透视,那种以心中意象为主导,以游动视点来观察表现空间的视觉理念。


受到荷兰画家莫里·茨柯内里斯·埃舍尔的影响,潜伏在绍京心底的探求欲、创造欲更加旺盛。二十七年青海人生经历,那人烟稀少,生活艰苦,社会思想闭塞,人事关系复杂,利益之争尖锐的生存条件,反而更加促成了他求新求变的心态。

率真的画家眼中看到,心中感悟到,头脑中形成的是一种真正的矛盾空间:现实与理想、动机和效果、真理与谬误、激情与理智,矛盾纠结、重复、发展、循环、共存在一个现实世界里。


这一切反映在画家黄绍京的眼中笔下,逐渐形成了他的绘画观念和构成形式。所以,他说:“我画这些结构图形,力求坐标体系很清楚,不论从焦点透视或散点透视来看,每个局部都是无可争议的真实可信,而总体竟然如此的不可实现;每个转折如此牢靠,结合成的框架却是如此荒谬。”

于是,他创作的画面出现了明显的变化,不再只是真实的客观描绘,不只是结实的造型、丰富的色彩、完整的色调、准确的透视,而是多维的空间、不同的视角、变幻的光源、哲理的思考、奇特的想象组成的一种“矛盾空间”。

绍京明确地说:“我这样热衷于画矛盾空间,想提供一种理解现实的新角度,一种理解生活的新形式。”他非常清醒地知道这种探索道路是没有路标的,这种深深的探井能否找到丰富的矿藏也是不可预知的。所以,他说:“这样画,未必能赏心悦目,但如思想干涸,求甘露之一滴而已。”

画家黄绍京在艺术旷野上开掘挖井,也许是太累了,也许是掘得太深空气稀薄,精力耗尽,身躯高大、精力充沛的他终于倒下了。他已经尝到了几滴甘露,却没能等到甘泉喷涌的时刻,没有完成自己的心愿。


同学好友艰难地走完了人生道路,他在坎坷的旅途中实现了生命价值。他的许多作品,他那永不满足的探索精神,是他留下的宝贵精神财富。


人们不会忘记那些在旷野孤寂开掘探井的人!

黄绍京一九三六年三月五日生于南京,二零零零年三月二十日病故于合肥,享年六十四岁。

自幼聪明好学,喜爱绘画和音乐。中学时代在南京度过,并与傅小石结为好友,常去傅家看傅抱石作画。被傅抱石爱称为黄小友。

一九五三年,中学毕业后曾被保送到哈尔滨军工学院。在一次偶然机会中,黄绍京陪同傅小石去北京报考中央美术学院。很幸运,通过考试两人同时被录取。就这样,一个本来打算学理工科的人,从此走上了一条为绘画艺术献身的艰难道路。正因为黄绍京有着中学时代,所学的数、理、化扎实功底。又为他将矛盾空间的理念应用到油画独特创作中去,打下了坚实的基础。

一九五八年,从中央美术学院油画系毕业的他,怀着那个时代的人拥有的理想,自愿来到人烟稀少、经济落后的青海。成为当时为数很少的大学校园中的一名美术教师,一干就是二十七年。在这二十七年里,曾被任职青海师范学院教师、教研组组长、教研室主任、学术会委员会委员、职称评审委员,也是中国美术家协会会员,中国美术家青海分会理事等。

一九八五年,由于黄绍京母亲年事已高,便调到安徽合肥工作和生活直到病故。

Article VI

Event participants will participate in the event under the guidance of museum staff and event leaders or instructors and must correctly use the painting tools, materials, equipment, and/or facilities provided for the event. If a participant causes injury or harm to him/herself or others while using the painting tools, materials, equipment, and/or facilities, or causes the damage or destruction of the tools, materials, equipment, and/or facilities, the event participant must undertake all related liability and provide compensation for the financial losses. Persons not involved in the accident and the museum do not undertake any liability for personal accidents.

CAFA Art Museum Portraiture Rights Licensing Agreement

According to The Advertising Law of the People’s Republic of China, The General Principles of the Civil Law of the People’s Republic of China, and The Provisional Opinions of the Supreme People’s Court on Some Issues Related to the Full Implementation of the General Principles of the Civil Law of the People’s Republic of China, and upon friendly negotiation, Party A and Party B have arrived at the following agreement regarding the use of works bearing Party A’s image in order to clarify the rights and obligations of the portrait licenser (Party A) and the user (Party B):

I. General Provisions

(1) Party A is the portraiture rights holder in this agreement. Party A voluntarily licenses its portraiture rights to Party B for the purposes stipulated in this agreement and permitted by law.

(2) Party B (CAFA Art Museum) is a specialized, international modern art museum. CAFA Art Museum keeps pace with the times, and works to create an open, free, and academic space and atmosphere for positive interaction with groups, corporations, institutions, artists, and visitors. With CAFA’s academic research as a foundation, the museum plans multi-disciplinary exhibitions, conferences, and public education events with participants from around the world, providing a platform for exchange, learning, and exhibition for CAFA’s students and instructors, artists from around the world, and the general public. As a public institution, the primary purposes of CAFA Art Museum’s public education events are academic and beneficial to society.

(3) Party B will photograph all CAFA Public Education Department events for Party A.

II. Content, Forms of Use, and Geographical Scope of Use

(1) Content. The content of images taken by Party B bearing Party A’s likeness include: ① CAFA Art Museum ② CAFA campus ③ All events planned or executed by the CAFAM Public Education Department.

(2) Forms of Use. For use in CAFA’s publications, products with CDs, and promotional materials.

(3) Geographical Scope of Use

The applicable geographic scope is global.

The media in which the portraiture may be used encompasses any media that does not infringe upon Party A’s portraiture rights (e.g., magazines and the internet).

III. Term of Portraiture Rights Use

Use in perpetuity.

IV. Licensing Fees

The fees for images bearing Party A’s likeness will be undertaken by Party B.

After completion, Party B does not need to pay any fees to Party A for images bearing Party A’s likeness.

Additional Terms

(1) All matters not discussed in this agreement shall be resolved through friendly negotiation between both parties. Both parties may then sign a supplementary agreement, provided it does not violate any laws or regulations.

(2) This agreement comes into effect on the date that it is signed (sealed) and the relevant boxes are selected by Party A and Party B.

(3) This agreement exists in paper and electronic forms. The paper form is made in duplicate, with Party A and Party B each retaining one copy with the same legal efficacy.

Event participants implicitly accept and undertake all the obligations stated in this agreement. Those who do not consent will be seen as abandoning the right to participate in this event. Before participating in this event, please speak to your family members to obtain their consent and inform them of this disclaimer. After participants sign/check the required box, participants and their families will be seen as having read and agreed to these terms.

This event was organized on the principles of fairness, impartiality, and voluntary participation and withdrawal. Participants undertake all risk and liability for themselves. All events have risks, and participants must be aware of the risks related to their chosen event.

Article II

Event participants must abide by the laws and regulations of the People’s Republic of China, as well as moral and ethical norms. All participants must demonstrate good character, respect for others, friendship, and a willingness to help others.

Article III

Event participants should be adults (people 18 years or older with full civil legal capacity). Underage persons must be accompanied by an adult.

Article IV

Event participants undertake all liability for their personal safety during the event, and event participants are encouraged to purchase personal safety insurance. Should an accident occur during an event, persons not involved in the accident and the museum do not undertake any liability for the accident, but both have the obligation to provide assistance. Event participants should actively organize and implement rescue efforts, but do not undertake any legal or economic liability for the accident itself. The museum does not undertake civil or joint liability for the personal safety of event participants.

Article V

During the event, event participants should respect the order of the museum event and ensure the safety of the museum site, the artworks in displays, exhibitions, and collections, and the derived products. If an event causes any degree of loss or damage to the museum site, space, artworks, or derived products due to an individual, persons not involved in the accident and the museum do not undertake any liability for losses. The event participant must negotiate and provide compensation according to the relevant legal statutes and museum rules. The museum may sue for legal and financial liability.

Article VI

Event participants will participate in the event under the guidance of museum staff and event leaders or instructors and must correctly use the painting tools, materials, equipment, and/or facilities provided for the event. If a participant causes injury or harm to him/herself or others while using the painting tools, materials, equipment, and/or facilities, or causes the damage or destruction of the tools, materials, equipment, and/or facilities, the event participant must undertake all related liability and provide compensation for the financial losses. Persons not involved in the accident and the museum do not undertake any liability for personal accidents.

CAFA Art Museum Portraiture Rights Licensing Agreement

According to The Advertising Law of the People’s Republic of China, The General Principles of the Civil Law of the People’s Republic of China, and The Provisional Opinions of the Supreme People’s Court on Some Issues Related to the Full Implementation of the General Principles of the Civil Law of the People’s Republic of China, and upon friendly negotiation, Party A and Party B have arrived at the following agreement regarding the use of works bearing Party A’s image in order to clarify the rights and obligations of the portrait licenser (Party A) and the user (Party B):

I. General Provisions

(1) Party A is the portraiture rights holder in this agreement. Party A voluntarily licenses its portraiture rights to Party B for the purposes stipulated in this agreement and permitted by law.

(2) Party B (CAFA Art Museum) is a specialized, international modern art museum. CAFA Art Museum keeps pace with the times, and works to create an open, free, and academic space and atmosphere for positive interaction with groups, corporations, institutions, artists, and visitors. With CAFA’s academic research as a foundation, the museum plans multi-disciplinary exhibitions, conferences, and public education events with participants from around the world, providing a platform for exchange, learning, and exhibition for CAFA’s students and instructors, artists from around the world, and the general public. As a public institution, the primary purposes of CAFA Art Museum’s public education events are academic and beneficial to society.

(3) Party B will photograph all CAFA Public Education Department events for Party A.

II. Content, Forms of Use, and Geographical Scope of Use

(1) Content. The content of images taken by Party B bearing Party A’s likeness include: ① CAFA Art Museum ② CAFA campus ③ All events planned or executed by the CAFAM Public Education Department.

(2) Forms of Use. For use in CAFA’s publications, products with CDs, and promotional materials.

(3) Geographical Scope of Use

The applicable geographic scope is global.

The media in which the portraiture may be used encompasses any media that does not infringe upon Party A’s portraiture rights (e.g., magazines and the internet).

III. Term of Portraiture Rights Use

Use in perpetuity.

IV. Licensing Fees

The fees for images bearing Party A’s likeness will be undertaken by Party B.

After completion, Party B does not need to pay any fees to Party A for images bearing Party A’s likeness.

Additional Terms

(1) All matters not discussed in this agreement shall be resolved through friendly negotiation between both parties. Both parties may then sign a supplementary agreement, provided it does not violate any laws or regulations.

(2) This agreement comes into effect on the date that it is signed (sealed) and the relevant boxes are selected by Party A and Party B.

(3) This agreement exists in paper and electronic forms. The paper form is made in duplicate, with Party A and Party B each retaining one copy with the same legal efficacy.

Event participants implicitly accept and undertake all the obligations stated in this agreement. Those who do not consent will be seen as abandoning the right to participate in this event. Before participating in this event, please speak to your family members to obtain their consent and inform them of this disclaimer. After participants sign/check the required box, participants and their families will be seen as having read and agreed to these terms.
