“2023广角°青年实验空间项目”入选方案公布

“广角°——青年实验空间项目”秉承推动中央美术学院青年教师在策展与创作方面多维探索的共同理念,由美术馆与党委教师工作部(人事处)、教师发展中心联合打造,使其成为中央美术学院青年教师策展与创作的实验田,意在通过多元的展览项目,协助并促进青年师生对跨学科联动、区域文化研究及中国传统文化作出积极回应。取其不规则之空间造型和不设限的展示维度,该项目于2023年正式更名为“广角°”。广角,一则与美术馆一层公共空间的另一策展培育计划“锐角”呼应,将美术馆中的两个空间以青年策展实践为角度相连接,向社会展示学院在策展教育与策展实践方面的最新成果;二则与青年教师在创作与教学中不断拓宽的思想广度相联系,教师们的申报方案中,有不少涉及跨媒介实践和教学方法扩展的项目。在未来的美术馆发展规划与教师工作部的青年教师扶持计划中,广角将作为一个起点,以校内艺术教育与社会美育传播为两条延线,展示青年与时代语境的交流,激活青年与传统收藏的链接,催生青年与更广阔可能性的碰撞。

2023年开年之际,经重新整合与揭幕启动,“广角°——青年实验空间项目”正式对外发布,并面向中央美术学院的青年教职工征集方案。最终收到十余个研究角度各异的方案,体现了多位青年教师对人工智能、传统文化传承、跨界艺术表演、艺术媒材创作等话题的思考。

6月25日,围绕征集方案,工作组组织了线上评选会议。评审组由校内外专家共9位组成。其中,校外评审人员为“广角°”特聘专家:北京大学艺术学院院长彭锋;北京画院院长吴洪亮。校内评审人员为活动主办方代表:美术馆馆长张子康,书记韩文超,副馆长高高;教师工作部部长兼人事处处长傅怡静,副部长兼副处长郁飞、扈学婷,副部长李彦君。美术馆学术部刘希言、易玥、胡晓岚以及教师工作部李金朋作为协调安排了此次会议的流程环节。

经过评审组的反复讨论与匿名投票,最终选定3份团体方案与4份个人方案(排名不分先后):



入选团体方案

以小组形式围绕一个主题进行的实验性展览策划与实施方案,包含师生团队项目

1.根景-智联-跃界:探索植物,技术与其他生命的交错共振

方案团体:薛天宠、 李贝壳、匡慧、张竞文、曲美霖、陈志颖、付虹羽、杨雨欣、任柏璇、李子泰郎、孙紫文、袁冰、刘钦清、徐若愚

方案概述:展览讨论植物、技术和其他生命的核心议题,分为三个主题板块,展示了植物世界的奥秘、技术与自然的关系,以及人类与其他生命之间的互动。通过设计教育与跨学科实践成果、系列讲座和文献研究,为观众提供一个思考人类与自然关系的空间,以探索城市化、工业化、智能化等技术进步与自然生态之间的平衡。


2.隐入山海——在C 展厅制造的实验剧场空间

方案团队:耿菁华、王相洁、程雨阳、Luba Hilman、Hwang Ching Lui、李晨

方案概述:该项目基于2022 年,王相洁和程雨阳于北京和伦敦完成的作品。两人虽处于相异时空,但未经商量的均假想了一个“自然”,并通过两种不同的创作逻辑将自我隐入其中,从而释放对现实的焦灼感。展览计划通过将绘画、文献、多媒体装置、织物与现场表演编织在一起,形成具有张力的剧场空间。


3.滋兰雅韵——滋兰昆曲社庆祝建校一百零五周年暨建社十五周年纪念展

方案团队:王浩、王瑀、董永俊、王楠、钟子骥、范传航、王雪茗、吴柳婵、戴熙彤

方案概述:今年值中央美术学院建校105 周年,也是滋兰昆曲社成立15 周年。展览既非单一的昆曲史,亦非铺陈的社团介绍,而是尝试在互动参与中追寻美院百余年来师生共同参与、校内校外齐力维续的昆曲文化活动,探索传承与美育的愿景与可能。


评审组对入选团体方案的点评


彭锋:建议昆曲主题的方案可以尝试与其他高校进行互动,甚至可以考虑与一些中小学的昆曲教育和传承的部分合作展示,这样可能会丰富展览内容。


吴洪亮:值得注意的是在实验性的一些方案之外,今年还有一些方案从传统的角度进行策划,关注经典材料、传统文化的主题。有一些展览在方案阶段涵盖的内容比较丰富,建议在落地阶段,要考虑资金、资源与空间的合理配比关系。


张子康:今年这几个方案的角度和内容都下了功夫。像是植物主题的方案,是这几年比较受关注的设计领域的策展方案,它在策划理念与跨界链接方面的尝试,对我们策展同仁来说有一定启发。


傅怡静:可以看出这些方案兼具实验性和创造性,与申报者的研究方向及兴趣有机结合,从策展与观看的角度来说,建议个别方案进一步考虑展览体量,展览的信息量在物理空间的呈现要适度,因此在落地实施的过程中,可突出核心、做一些减法。

韩文超:今年与去年的一个区别,是有一些方案关注了传统文化。这样的方案一方面在社会传播中有一定意义,另一方面也能从中看出申报者将实验性的角度和现代化的空间融入传统主题的积极尝试。我也很期待这样有新意的展览。

一位青年教师的新作/近作展览方案,其中需包含另一位/组青年教师作为策展人为其构思的展览策划案

1.万有引力——陈明强个人作品展

艺术家:陈明强

策展人:陈哩尔、权文熙

方案概述:本次展览的作品灵感源自艺术家在工作室时的一次偶发事件:一只掠过中庭的飞鸟因重力作用的导势下,在放置于院中的一幅作品上落下了痕迹。这一事件像极了牛顿与苹果这个耳熟能详的故事,在自然界中,一只坠落的苹果似乎代表着生机勃勃的外在美丽就此终结,这既是一个句点,又意味着另一个开始。


2.OB(q∣p):多智体从相遇到协作

艺术家:陈抱阳

策展人:孙骞谦

方案概述:展览标题中“OB(q∣p)”是指“如果P成立,那我们有义务去做Q”,这指向了我们对多智体针对某一规则进行决策,最终完成任务乃至进化的过程。展览将分为“遇见”和“协作”两个板块。除陈抱阳的过往作品外,还将展示他2023年创作的两件新作。


3.玉·见广角——钱亮玉质媒材艺术研究展

艺术家:钱亮

策展人:曾小凤

方案概述:钱亮以玉材为媒进行创作至今已有十年,他一直致力于推进中华优秀传统文化尤其是玉文化的创造性转化与创新性发展。展览方案拟以其近作《叠翠》系列为主,用自由、开放和现代的眼光去拓展传统,将中华美学精神和造物思想与当代审美追求结合起来,反映出中国文化的当代生命力。


4.牺牲的空间——李展的新作

艺术家:李展

策展人:李垚辰

方案概述:李展将雕塑中力的表达与对空间的理解结合起来,希望通过探索雕塑艺术中的“空间”,尤其是“负空间”的表达,来进行自己语言的锤炼。展览拟展示李展近几年的雕塑实践,多以动物造型切入,研究石膏材料的直接造型。他说“这种直接成型的塑造方式能够帮助我实现形体和空间关系的开放,打破以往雕塑的封闭和围合形态,呈现出更加丰富的空间关系。”


评审组对入选个人方案的点评


吴洪亮:这次的几个项目,从策展理念到展出作品,有一定的先锋性。也能看出各位申报者根据空间情况对作品的展出逻辑进行了适当的调整,比如雕塑主题的方案中,可以看出艺术家将作品与这个展厅的特点进行了结合。

彭锋:个人组的方案都特点鲜明,在投票的时候有些难以取舍。未来到落地实施的阶段时,个别方案还需要在已有的基础上更进一步深化,突出作为展览的整体性。

韩文超:帮助年轻的老师们完成一个个展,实现了我们这个项目服务教师成长的小目标。多智体主题的的方案反映了青年老师近年来对新的科技与艺术结合方面的探索,该方案中还有针对技术与理论方面的学术研讨,值得期待。

傅怡静:我们希望让更多的老师有机会对他们的创作实践和策展理念,进行呈现和展示。非常感谢专家们对这些方案提出的深化和提升的建议,这将帮助青年老师们在更新方案和落地实施的过程中对自己的方案进行有效地改进。

The event participant must negotiate and provide compensation according to the relevant legal statutes and museum rules. The museum may sue for legal and financial liability.

Article VI

Event participants will participate in the event under the guidance of museum staff and event leaders or instructors and must correctly use the painting tools, materials, equipment, and/or facilities provided for the event. If a participant causes injury or harm to him/herself or others while using the painting tools, materials, equipment, and/or facilities, or causes the damage or destruction of the tools, materials, equipment, and/or facilities, the event participant must undertake all related liability and provide compensation for the financial losses. Persons not involved in the accident and the museum do not undertake any liability for personal accidents.

CAFA Art Museum Portraiture Rights Licensing Agreement

According to The Advertising Law of the People’s Republic of China, The General Principles of the Civil Law of the People’s Republic of China, and The Provisional Opinions of the Supreme People’s Court on Some Issues Related to the Full Implementation of the General Principles of the Civil Law of the People’s Republic of China, and upon friendly negotiation, Party A and Party B have arrived at the following agreement regarding the use of works bearing Party A’s image in order to clarify the rights and obligations of the portrait licenser (Party A) and the user (Party B):

I. General Provisions

(1) Party A is the portraiture rights holder in this agreement. Party A voluntarily licenses its portraiture rights to Party B for the purposes stipulated in this agreement and permitted by law.

(2) Party B (CAFA Art Museum) is a specialized, international modern art museum. CAFA Art Museum keeps pace with the times, and works to create an open, free, and academic space and atmosphere for positive interaction with groups, corporations, institutions, artists, and visitors. With CAFA’s academic research as a foundation, the museum plans multi-disciplinary exhibitions, conferences, and public education events with participants from around the world, providing a platform for exchange, learning, and exhibition for CAFA’s students and instructors, artists from around the world, and the general public. As a public institution, the primary purposes of CAFA Art Museum’s public education events are academic and beneficial to society.

(3) Party B will photograph all CAFA Public Education Department events for Party A.

II. Content, Forms of Use, and Geographical Scope of Use

(1) Content. The content of images taken by Party B bearing Party A’s likeness include: ① CAFA Art Museum ② CAFA campus ③ All events planned or executed by the CAFAM Public Education Department.

(2) Forms of Use. For use in CAFA’s publications, products with CDs, and promotional materials.

(3) Geographical Scope of Use

The applicable geographic scope is global.

The media in which the portraiture may be used encompasses any media that does not infringe upon Party A’s portraiture rights (e.g., magazines and the internet).

III. Term of Portraiture Rights Use

Use in perpetuity.

IV. Licensing Fees

The fees for images bearing Party A’s likeness will be undertaken by Party B.

After completion, Party B does not need to pay any fees to Party A for images bearing Party A’s likeness.

Additional Terms

(1) All matters not discussed in this agreement shall be resolved through friendly negotiation between both parties. Both parties may then sign a supplementary agreement, provided it does not violate any laws or regulations.

(2) This agreement comes into effect on the date that it is signed (sealed) and the relevant boxes are selected by Party A and Party B.

(3) This agreement exists in paper and electronic forms. The paper form is made in duplicate, with Party A and Party B each retaining one copy with the same legal efficacy.

Event participants implicitly accept and undertake all the obligations stated in this agreement. Those who do not consent will be seen as abandoning the right to participate in this event. Before participating in this event, please speak to your family members to obtain their consent and inform them of this disclaimer.
