CAFAM现场 | “化梦:李洋的艺术”金秋启幕


9月28日,“广角°——青年实验项目空间”第一期第五回展览“化梦:李洋的艺术”在中央美术学院美术馆二层C展厅如期开幕。本次展览是中央美术学院壁画系副教授李洋的个人作品专题展,由中央美术学院人文学院副院长邵亦杨、中央美术学院人文学院教授邵彦担任学术顾问,中央美术学院美术馆设计总监、副研究员纪玉洁担任策展人。展览梳理并呈现了艺术家三十三年来以梦为核心展开的艺术探索与创作,包括油画、壁画、数字艺术、装置、图形设计、社会行为艺术以及艺术家日记、手稿等108件/组作品,其核心议题是把梦作为一种艺术创作方法,探索“以梦化人”的潜在可能。

出席本次展览开幕式的嘉宾有:中央美术学院壁画系系主任唐晖,中央美术学院党委宣传部部长秦建平,教师工作部部长兼人事处处长傅怡静,壁画系直属党支部书记、副主任王长兴,美术馆直属党支部书记韩文超;研究生院副院长吴啸海,壁画系直属党支部副书记王芳,建筑学院研究生部副主任刘文豹,设计学院教授周博,教师工作部副部长兼人事处副处长扈学婷,教师工作部副部长李彦君,《世界美术》杂志编辑赵炎,中国国际医疗保健促进会睡眠医学分会文化泰和麦德(北京)医疗科技创始人贺舫等艺术家和学院教师。中央美术学院美术馆副馆长高高主持开幕式。


中央美术学院美术馆直属党支部书记韩文超致辞

中央美术学院美术馆直属党支部书记韩文超在致辞中首先介绍了青年实验项目空间的策划缘起,美术馆作为学校的窗口与平台秉承服务教学和师生的重要宗旨,在积极推动美术学院不同专业教师之间进行跨界交流、合作与互动的努力。他指出本次“化梦”展览邀请到邵亦杨、邵彦两位教授做学术顾问,确保了展览的学术性和研究基调。尽管展览规模及体量不大,但展览结构及脉络非常清晰,展品非常多元,是第一期五个展览当中作品数量最多,类别最丰富的,展览的视觉品质很高,很有特点,体现了“小空间,新气象”的特质。并讲到从入口蔓延到空间的时间线就可看出,艺术家李洋持之以恒的艺术探索过程,这对美院学生探索艺术风格、形成系统化的思考是非常有帮助。与此同时,第二期青年实验项目空间已经完成方案遴选,将会陆续呈现给大家,第一期的五个展览也将集结成册,敬请大家期待并感谢对此项目的关注和支持。

中央美术学院教师工作部部长兼人事处处长傅怡静在致辞中首先表达了对艺术家李洋与策展人纪玉洁合作展览成功举办的祝贺。她认为作为第一期青年实验项目空间的收关之作,本次展览非常独特,和现场嘉宾与观众分享了观展后的两点认识:一方面李洋把现实和梦境达成了和解,将浪漫与理性进行了融合;另一方面李洋把个体性和社会性进行结合,梦作为个体属性很强的存在,被他转变成社会性的探索,又融入笔端,很值得钦佩与尊敬。她说道:“专注做一件事,世界会有一个很伟大的力量。”认为李洋老师在追逐梦这件事情时产生了一个伟大的力量——这个伟大的力量在于治愈、在于乐趣。不懈的追梦、非凡的努力加上生命的激情、极致的表达,成就了李洋艺术做梦的事业。


本次展览策展人、中央美术学院美术馆设计总监纪玉洁致辞

本次展览策展人、中央美术学院美术馆设计总监纪玉洁在致辞中先分享了她与艺术家李洋相识与合作的过程、对李洋其人和梦艺术创作的理解,以“实验性、社会性、专题性”为出发点的展览初衷。她阐释了展览“化梦”的主旨,重点介绍了将思维导图作为视觉叙事逻辑的策展理念:将墙面作为导图的创作图纸,以时间为线索选取典型作品,在空间中建构一个巨大的景观式思维导图,纵览艺术家33年的艺术创作路径;根据展览空间结构请李洋新创作“人类探梦简史”思维导图,以阐明个体的梦不仅链接到个体心理,还连接到集体潜意识,联结到时代、历史、社会乃至人类面临的急迫问题;用思维导图来统领展览的视觉形象设计,对导图式基础图形进行重组和编排,搭配高纯度、高饱和度的黄色,形成一个专属性强、识别性高的完整展览视觉系统。最后她强调了展览围绕“社会性”展开的系列学术活动策划并致谢。

本次展览的艺术家李洋致辞

本次展览的艺术家李洋副教授在致辞中谈到,在美院学习与教学过程中,个人小我和集体大我是不断对话与整合的过程;美院是一个鼓励创造与创新,鼓励用艺术去探索人类的、宇宙等未知领域的地方,同时美院有一种非常重要的情怀——艺术为人类服务、为社会服务、为人民服务。他认为展览体现出策展人非常高的眼光和境界修养,作为艺术家有时是迷失而混沌的,是策展人帮他从众多的特质和线索中提炼、升华出灵感导图这个关键语言。他还特别提到展览的一个公共艺术项目——“在梦境中感受美术馆“,他在中央美院美术馆内进行睡眠,以科技手段完整记录睡眠与梦的发生过程,在醒来后的瞬间凭藉记忆画出梦,两相对照,获得新的感知与认识。作为一名教师,李洋认为在当下特定的时代里,梦可变成一种社会交流的媒介与载体,利用它可以发现新的人类科学、艺术、文化、哲学、社会生活工具的多种可能性。

前言

梦是启迪,是人潜意识在努力使整个心灵更趋于和谐、合理。”

——荣格(Carl Gustav Jung, 1875-1961)

如果以人为坐标,艺术创作的视域大致可分为两种维度,一种是“向外”,看向人的体外之物,“再现”外部客观世界和社会生活;另一种是“向内”,看向人的内在精神,“表现”自身的主观世界和心理意识。李洋的艺术显然基于后者,他把梦作为自身艺术实践的方法和语言,持续展开“梦”的研究与创作。就像乔治·莫兰迪执着于描绘静物瓶子,伊夫·克莱因着迷于极致的单色艺术,对于梦,李洋如痴如醉,从1990年开始,他持续工作于梦,创作于梦,三十三年,未曾间断,单纯、执着与坚韧成为他艺术品格的真实写照。

展览“化梦”是对李洋“梦”艺术实践的一次谱系式、样本化的梳理,囊括了他的油画、壁画、数字艺术、图形设计、社会行为艺术以及日记、手稿等多元形式的作品。“化梦”一方面意为“化我”,即对李洋而言,他通过自我梦境的记录、分析和研究,进行深刻的心灵探索,实现自我心灵的转化、净化与疗愈;另一方面暗示着“化人”,李洋将视角由自我转向他者,通过梦的视觉化带动对社会中人的心理与历史叙事关系的关注。通过分析和描绘他人的梦境,把隐藏其中那些看不见的力量变得可见,实现转译并疗愈他者的内心和精神世界的目的。

作为一名研究型艺术家,李洋没有将自己囿于特定的艺术语言的标签枷锁上,虽然他的作品有超现实主义绘画的属性和特征,但古典主义、构成主义、波普乃至科技艺术、社会艺术都通达作用于他的创作。他将梦作为一个吸收器、记录器与反应器,通过个人记录反映一个时代的普遍梦经验,同时记录这个时代最重要的艺术语言流变。“我画梦,就是画现实。”正如李洋所言,他描绘的虽然是超现实的题材,但暗含的是比现实世界更真实的力量,比客观的再现世界更具意义。

李洋

艺术家,梦工作者,中央美术学院壁画系副教授,硕士生导师,艺术学博士,目前生活和工作于北京。他的工作目前关注于梦工作的艺术、心理学、医学与社会学视角的整合,从梦的语言中获取新的社会生活工具的可能性。

画出你的梦境-征集计划

人的一生大约有1/3的时间是在睡眠当中度过的,当代科学研究发现,每个成年人每天经历的正常睡眠中,会做4-6个梦。梦是人类个体及集体潜意识的反映,是人身体与精神生活的重要组成部分。梦也是拥有巨大创造力的内在的宝库。画出自身的梦,这不仅是一种回忆和纪念,也是自我观察、整理、再认知的过程,更是经典的自我审视与自我疗愈的手法之一。据此,我们将开展一次“画出你的梦境”征集计划。

我们为大家提供了“画梦登记表”,不同年龄、不同职业的参与者都可以自行下载打印,绘制并上传关于各自梦境的绘画及文本,这些视觉化的梦境图像/图形与文本将会在展厅的特定墙面上张贴呈现,成为“化梦”展览展出作品的一部分。在这里,参与者既可以对不同人们的梦境产生宏观的认知,也可以和不同的参与者有着微观而具体层面的分享交流。所有参与者共同创作了一件关于梦的大型作品,随着上传作品的增加,梦的神秘园地会越来越庞大。

CAFA Art Museum Event Safety Disclaimer

Article I

If an event causes any degree of loss or damage to the museum site, space, artworks, or derived products due to an individual, persons not involved in the accident and the museum do not undertake any liability for losses. The event participant must negotiate and provide compensation according to the relevant legal statutes and museum rules. The museum may sue for legal and financial liability.

Article VI

Event participants will participate in the event under the guidance of museum staff and event leaders or instructors and must correctly use the painting tools, materials, equipment, and/or facilities provided for the event. If a participant causes injury or harm to him/herself or others while using the painting tools, materials, equipment, and/or facilities, or causes the damage or destruction of the tools, materials, equipment, and/or facilities, the event participant must undertake all related liability and provide compensation for the financial losses. Persons not involved in the accident and the museum do not undertake any liability for personal accidents.

CAFA Art Museum Portraiture Rights Licensing Agreement

According to The Advertising Law of the People’s Republic of China, The General Principles of the Civil Law of the People’s Republic of China, and The Provisional Opinions of the Supreme People’s Court on Some Issues Related to the Full Implementation of the General Principles of the Civil Law of the People’s Republic of China, and upon friendly negotiation, Party A and Party B have arrived at the following agreement regarding the use of works bearing Party A’s image in order to clarify the rights and obligations of the portrait licenser (Party A) and the user (Party B):

I. General Provisions

(1) Party A is the portraiture rights holder in this agreement. Party A voluntarily licenses its portraiture rights to Party B for the purposes stipulated in this agreement and permitted by law.

(2) Party B (CAFA Art Museum) is a specialized, international modern art museum. CAFA Art Museum keeps pace with the times, and works to create an open, free, and academic space and atmosphere for positive interaction with groups, corporations, institutions, artists, and visitors. With CAFA’s academic research as a foundation, the museum plans multi-disciplinary exhibitions, conferences, and public education events with participants from around the world, providing a platform for exchange, learning, and exhibition for CAFA’s students and instructors, artists from around the world, and the general public. As a public institution, the primary purposes of CAFA Art Museum’s public education events are academic and beneficial to society.

(3) Party B will photograph all CAFA Public Education Department events for Party A.

II. Content, Forms of Use, and Geographical Scope of Use

(1) Content. The content of images taken by Party B bearing Party A’s likeness include: ① CAFA Art Museum ② CAFA campus ③ All events planned or executed by the CAFAM Public Education Department.

(2) Forms of Use. For use in CAFA’s publications, products with CDs, and promotional materials.

(3) Geographical Scope of Use

The applicable geographic scope is global.

The media in which the portraiture may be used encompasses any media that does not infringe upon Party A’s portraiture rights (e.g., magazines and the internet).

III. Term of Portraiture Rights Use

Use in perpetuity.

IV. Licensing Fees

The fees for images bearing Party A’s likeness will be undertaken by Party B.

After completion, Party B does not need to pay any fees to Party A for images bearing Party A’s likeness.

Additional Terms

(1) All matters not discussed in this agreement shall be resolved through friendly negotiation between both parties. Both parties may then sign a supplementary agreement, provided it does not violate any laws or regulations.

(2) This agreement comes into effect on the date that it is signed (sealed) and the relevant boxes are selected by Party A and Party B.

(3) This agreement exists in paper and electronic forms. The paper form is made in duplicate, with Party A and Party B each retaining one copy with the same legal efficacy.

Event participants implicitly accept and undertake all the obligations stated in this agreement. Those who do not consent will be seen as abandoning the right to participate in this event. Before participating in this event, please speak to your family members to obtain their consent and inform them of this disclaimer. After participants sign/check the required box, participants and their families will be seen as having read and agreed to these terms.

CAFA Art Museum Publication Authorization Agreement

I fully agree to CAFA Art Museum (CAFAM) submitting to CAFA for publication the images, pictures, texts, writings, and event products (such as works created during participation in workshops) related to me from my participation in public events (including museum member events) organized by the CAFA Art Museum Public Education Department. CAFA can publish these materials by electronic, web, or other digital means, and I hereby agree to be included in the China Knowledge Resource Bank, the CAFA Database, the CAFA Art Museum Database, and related data, documentation, and filing institutions and platforms. Regarding their use in CAFA and dissemination on the internet, I agree to make use of these rights according to the stated Rules.

CAFA Art Museum Event Safety Disclaimer

Article I

This event was organized on the principles of fairness, impartiality, and voluntary participation and withdrawal. Participants undertake all risk and liability for themselves. All events have risks, and participants must be aware of the risks related to their chosen event.

Article II

Event participants must abide by the laws and regulations of the People’s Republic of China, as well as moral and ethical norms. All participants must demonstrate good character, respect for others, friendship, and a willingness to help others.

Article III

Event participants should be adults (people 18 years or older with full civil legal capacity). Underage persons must be accompanied by an adult.

Article IV

Event participants undertake all liability for their personal safety during the event, and event participants are encouraged to purchase personal safety insurance. Should an accident occur during an event, persons not involved in the accident and the museum do not undertake any liability for the accident, but both have the obligation to provide assistance. Event participants should actively organize and implement rescue efforts, but do not undertake any legal or economic liability for the accident itself. The museum does not undertake civil or joint liability for the personal safety of event participants.

Article V

During the event, event participants should respect the order of the museum event and ensure the safety of the museum site, the artworks in displays, exhibitions, and collections, and the derived products. If an event causes any degree of loss or damage to the museum site, space, artworks, or derived products due to an individual, persons not involved in the accident and the museum do not undertake any liability for losses. The event participant must negotiate and provide compensation according to the relevant legal statutes and museum rules. The museum may sue for legal and financial liability.

Article VI

Event participants will participate in the event under the guidance of museum staff and event leaders or instructors and must correctly use the painting tools, materials, equipment, and/or facilities provided for the event. If a participant causes injury or harm to him/herself or others while using the painting tools, materials, equipment, and/or facilities, or causes the damage or destruction of the tools, materials, equipment, and/or facilities, the event participant must undertake all related liability and provide compensation for the financial losses. Persons not involved in the accident and the museum do not undertake any liability for personal accidents.

CAFA Art Museum Portraiture Rights Licensing Agreement

According to The Advertising Law of the People’s Republic of China, The General Principles of the Civil Law of the People’s Republic of China, and The Provisional Opinions of the Supreme People’s Court on Some Issues Related to the Full Implementation of the General Principles of the Civil Law of the People’s Republic of China, and upon friendly negotiation, Party A and Party B have arrived at the following agreement regarding the use of works bearing Party A’s image in order to clarify the rights and obligations of the portrait licenser (Party A) and the user (Party B):

I. General Provisions

(1) Party A is the portraiture rights holder in this agreement. Party A voluntarily licenses its portraiture rights to Party B for the purposes stipulated in this agreement and permitted by law.

(2) Party B (CAFA Art Museum) is a specialized, international modern art museum. CAFA Art Museum keeps pace with the times, and works to create an open, free, and academic space and atmosphere for positive interaction with groups, corporations, institutions, artists, and visitors. With CAFA’s academic research as a foundation, the museum plans multi-disciplinary exhibitions, conferences, and public education events with participants from around the world, providing a platform for exchange, learning, and exhibition for CAFA’s students and instructors, artists from around the world, and the general public. As a public institution, the primary purposes of CAFA Art Museum’s public education events are academic and beneficial to society.

(3) Party B will photograph all CAFA Public Education Department events for Party A.

II. Content, Forms of Use, and Geographical Scope of Use

(1) Content. The content of images taken by Party B bearing Party A’s likeness include: ① CAFA Art Museum ② CAFA campus ③ All events planned or executed by the CAFAM Public Education Department.

(2) Forms of Use. For use in CAFA’s publications, products with CDs, and promotional materials.

(3) Geographical Scope of Use

The applicable geographic scope is global.

The media in which the portraiture may be used encompasses any media that does not infringe upon Party A’s portraiture rights (e.g., magazines and the internet).

III. Term of Portraiture Rights Use

Use in perpetuity.

IV. Licensing Fees

The fees for images bearing Party A’s likeness will be undertaken by Party B.

After completion, Party B does not need to pay any fees to Party A for images bearing Party A’s likeness.

Additional Terms

(1) All matters not discussed in this agreement shall be resolved through friendly negotiation between both parties. Both parties may then sign a supplementary agreement, provided it does not violate any laws or regulations.
