“艺荟中西”全国巡展在中央美院美术馆拉开序幕

2024年3月14日上午10点,由国家艺术基金资助的“艺荟中西——海上丝绸之路视角下的 19 世纪澳门及广东地区图像展”(以下简称为“艺荟中西”)开幕式在中央美术学院美术馆隆重开启。

本次展览是2023年国家艺术基金项目,并且为全国性巡回展览,在中央美术学院美术馆的展览,为巡回展览五站中的第一站。展览由澳门科技大学主办,澳门科技大学人文艺术学院承办。展出作品以银川当代美术馆收藏的洋风画,以及澳门科技大学图书馆收藏的澳门及广东地图为主,它向观众展示19世纪海上丝绸之路的重要节点澳门、广州及通商口岸的城市景观与历史变迁。本次展览展出洋风画123幅,地图80件。

出席本次展览开幕式的重要嘉宾有:驻澳门特别行政区联络办公室宣传文化部文体处处长白冰,中国文化和旅游部港澳台办港澳处伍俊,中国文联副主席\中国民间文艺家协会主席潘鲁生,原中国美术家协会分党组书记,驻会副主席、秘书长徐里,中国美术家协会理论委员会主任、中国美协理事尚辉,中央美术学院院长林茂,中央美术学院副院长邱志杰,澳门科技大学人文艺术学院院长张志庆,澳门科技大学人文艺术学院副教授汪蓝,银川当代美术馆艺术总监吕澎,中央美术学院美术馆馆长靳军、直属党支部书记韩文超等,以及众多行业内专家、媒体记者、艺术从业人士等。中央美术学院美术馆副馆长高高担任主持人。

在开幕发言中,中央美术学院院长林茂表示:“今年正值澳门回归祖国25周年,本次展览和研讨会的举办,将增强澳门地区与内陆地区的文化学术交流。与此同时,从艺术史学科的发展来看,这次展览也为我们提供了一个极具学术价值的研究方向,并为未来文化艺术及视觉图像的研究,提供了鲜明而有借鉴意义的历史例证。”

而作为展览主办方澳门科技大学人文艺术学院院长张志庆则补充道:“19世纪是科学技术取得极大发展的时代,很多画家随着探险家一同参与海上丝绸之路的远洋航行,他们旅居珠江两岸,将西方写实绘画传入中国,他们创作了大量描绘自然景观、动植物和民族风俗的绘画作品以及古代地图,而这些珍贵的历史图像成为我们今天研究澳门18、19世纪文化的重要实证。”

最后本次展览的策展人汪蓝强调展览“在今天中国‘一带一路’和‘人类命运共同体’的国际发展思维理念下,回顾这段历史意义重大!”

本次展览中展出的绘画作品,主要是19世纪后旅居澳门的钱纳利为代表的西方画家与广州林呱为代表的中国画家,留下的一批反映清朝晚期的人物、风俗、风景以及其他题材的绘画作品,它们又被称为“洋风画”。这些作品真实、生动地记录了澳门、广州、香港地区及中国的风土人情和城市景观。而与绘画同时展出的地图,是随着海上贸易的发展,科学技术的进步后出现的产物。此时,地图绘制技术已日趋完善,这些地图详实地反映了澳门与广东珠江沿岸的变迁,以及对于世界的态度与观看海洋的不同视角。而本次展览正是希望通过对这些洋风画和地图的展出,重新呈现19世纪中西艺术相互交融的视觉图像,并挖掘与找回广州地区、特别是澳门多元文化的历史地位和艺术价值。

在展览开幕结束后,学术研讨会也正式开启。研讨会上半场由中央美术学院副馆长王春辰主持,下半场由上海大学教授郭亮主持,13位来自中外的学术嘉宾,围绕“中西艺术交流”“洋风画”“澳门历史”等主题,展开了各自的专项发言:

汪蓝以《视域图——大航海视角下的澳门城市景观》为主题,他以1698年法国安菲特里忒号首次中国之行为线索,讲诉了由此开启的中法贸易和文化交流的新篇章,以及因此产生了许多精美的澳门手绘地图和视域图。并通过视域图的产生与发展,探究当时澳门城市格局、肌理及建筑的发展,以及它对17、18世纪澳门城市景观及中西交流的影响。

胡光华的发言主题为《林呱:“中国的托马斯·劳伦斯”》,作为“洋风画”重要代表,林呱(Lamqua,关乔昌)是清代以擅长油画而驰名中外的画家,欧美人士称赞他为“中国的托马斯·劳伦斯”,这在中国美术史上是绝无仅有的孤例。作为英国画家钱纳利的学生,林呱间接获得欧洲古典油画肖像大师托马斯·劳伦斯的肖像画艺术真传,为清代中西美术的交流做出了重大贡献。

学者弗兰克·韦一空(Frank Vigneron)的发言主题为《移动的知识型:18世纪艺术中的创造性误读与富有成效的对话》。他追踪了17世纪末和18世纪欧洲与中国之间的概念和艺术作品的传播。在他看来,尽管欧洲和中国的知识型始终是不同且独立的,但在那个时期,它们之间有足够的接触点,艺术交流因此成为可能。并认为这个时期,中国艺术领域中的外部影响更多来自于强加而非对新概念的欢迎。

学者佛朗切斯科•莫瑞纳(Francesco Morena)的发言主题为《18世纪萨伏依公庭艺术家皮埃特罗·马萨的“中国风”装饰艺术》。中国风是一种以中国文化和艺术品为灵感来源的装饰图案为特征,在18世纪尤其流行于欧洲的风格,它也一度在意大利广泛传播。皮埃蒙特地区无疑是中国风扎根的宫廷中的一员。这片位于与法国接壤的广阔领土由将在19世纪创造出意大利王国的萨伏依家族统治。在十八世纪上半叶尝试创作中国风装饰的艺术家中,皮埃特罗·马萨无疑是最多产的,他的作品可以被视为当时皮埃蒙特地区中国风发展的典范。

于洋的发言主题为《回望早期“西画东渐”的历史背影》。他认为“西画东渐”与西方对中国的发现有关,通过17世纪至19世纪西方传教士、商人的传播以及19世纪后期西方汉学的兴起,中国作为一个古老的东方文化帝因,开始了与西方文化“自然的”交流对话。而在此之后,中国作为一个落后的东方军事弱国,开始了与西方文化“非自然”的交流对话。两种“东渐”,传播主体发生了根本性转换:留学生逐渐取代传教士成为传播主体,西方文化由此大面积、全方位地输入中国,并且纳入中国近代新文化的体系之中。

郭亮以《图观海域——中西交流下的明清海图与国家海权》为主题,讲诉了17世纪以来,海上航线成为航海发达国家到达亚洲与中国的主要路径。在他看来,近代的西绘和中国本土海图,可以作为一个被忽略的线索,从新颖的角度揭示出中西交流背景下,中国和西方对海权的实践模式及其与国家事务的多重交集。

刘希言的发言主题为《不断推近的“中国”风景——18、19世纪中国风俗玻璃画中的风景研究》,他以中央美术学院美术馆藏的清代玻璃画《水中楼阁》为切入点,通过简要梳理玻璃画在中国的发展历史和分析18、19世纪两个时期风俗玻璃画中对风景的不同处理方式,来解读《水中楼阁》中出现的种种矛盾图式。在此基础上,也尝试以平板玻璃画中的“风景”变化为视角,透视该时期外销艺术发展、审美趣味转移的独特历史。

刘鹏以《跨文化的描绘:简析钱纳利绘画中的澳门本土人物》为主题,探讨了钱纳利的艺术轨迹,以及他对当时中国绘画的推动作用。钱纳利是一位具有重要影响力的艺术家,他的艺术思想和绘画技巧对中国绘画的发展产生了深远影响,同时提到了西学在中国绘画领域的应用,中国画家通过吸收西方绘画中的元素和理念,使得中国画走向世界舞台。

杨迅凌的发言主题是《从澳门到北京:欧洲所绘粤道内河航线地图谱系整理与考释(1655-1815)》,他整理了1655-1815年间经粵道入华的欧洲各国人士绘制的澳门到北京的内河航道地图,并进行谱系整理与考释。并通过对这些古地图的整理,挖掘了历史上澳门通过这条航线在明清两代中外交中所起的重要作用。

意大利学者安德烈·德尔·古尔丘(Andrea del Guercio)的发言主题为《Ai love China 弗朗索瓦·布歇到古斯塔夫·莫罗,从优雅到深邃》。在他看来,欧洲艺术历史上关注着非洲大陆和亚洲,尤其是中国和日本,以寻求美学文化的交流。18世纪欧洲艺术对中国的独特关注,形成了独特的美学模式,并影响了日常生活。例如弗朗索瓦·布歇(1703-1770年):《中国园林》是欧洲艺术对中国传统美的杰出代表,构建了中西文化的和谐桥梁,体现了卓越之美。

伦敦大学学院教授毛里奇奥·马里内利(Maurizio Marinelli)发展主题为《中意跨文化对话:从巴勒莫的“中国小房子”到天津的“意大利区”》,他重点介绍两个有特色的混合性案例:意大利文化在中国的混合表征,通过研究在天津的租界 (1901-1945) 及其最近的战略改造,以及通过研究意大利的“中国小房子”来再现意大利的中国性巴勒莫 (1799-1806) 及其在当前可能的适应性用途。阐明跨文化和共同创造的过程和影响改变中国和意大利的身份认同。

龚之允的演讲主题为《中国玻璃背画的题材与分类问题》,作为中西文化融合的产物, 18世纪中后期出现的玻璃背画基本⽣产于中国,且分为⻄洋笔法和中国本⼟笔法。中国玻璃背画是18世纪产⽣的对欧洲装饰艺术产⽣深远影响的艺术⻔类。其题材具有很强的当下性和想象⼒,较少受⻄⽅或中国传统题材的约束,解放了艺术家的想象和创作空间。

吕澎的发言主题为《存在着十九世纪中国绘画的历史吗?》,在他看来,新航路引发的中西之间的交流不再中断,传教士通过海路进入中国的传教活动导致西洋绘画进入中国宫廷并不可避免地在贡赐渠道和商路中传播民间,之后,中国的绘画演变进入了更为世俗的历史语境。

CAFA Art Museum Event Safety Disclaimer

Article I

The museum does not undertake civil or joint liability for the personal safety of event participants.

Article V

During the event, event participants should respect the order of the museum event and ensure the safety of the museum site, the artworks in displays, exhibitions, and collections, and the derived products. If an event causes any degree of loss or damage to the museum site, space, artworks, or derived products due to an individual, persons not involved in the accident and the museum do not undertake any liability for losses. The event participant must negotiate and provide compensation according to the relevant legal statutes and museum rules. The museum may sue for legal and financial liability.

Article VI

Event participants will participate in the event under the guidance of museum staff and event leaders or instructors and must correctly use the painting tools, materials, equipment, and/or facilities provided for the event. If a participant causes injury or harm to him/herself or others while using the painting tools, materials, equipment, and/or facilities, or causes the damage or destruction of the tools, materials, equipment, and/or facilities, the event participant must undertake all related liability and provide compensation for the financial losses. Persons not involved in the accident and the museum do not undertake any liability for personal accidents.

CAFA Art Museum Portraiture Rights Licensing Agreement

According to The Advertising Law of the People’s Republic of China, The General Principles of the Civil Law of the People’s Republic of China, and The Provisional Opinions of the Supreme People’s Court on Some Issues Related to the Full Implementation of the General Principles of the Civil Law of the People’s Republic of China, and upon friendly negotiation, Party A and Party B have arrived at the following agreement regarding the use of works bearing Party A’s image in order to clarify the rights and obligations of the portrait licenser (Party A) and the user (Party B):

I. General Provisions

(1) Party A is the portraiture rights holder in this agreement. Party A voluntarily licenses its portraiture rights to Party B for the purposes stipulated in this agreement and permitted by law.

(2) Party B (CAFA Art Museum) is a specialized, international modern art museum. CAFA Art Museum keeps pace with the times, and works to create an open, free, and academic space and atmosphere for positive interaction with groups, corporations, institutions, artists, and visitors. With CAFA’s academic research as a foundation, the museum plans multi-disciplinary exhibitions, conferences, and public education events with participants from around the world, providing a platform for exchange, learning, and exhibition for CAFA’s students and instructors, artists from around the world, and the general public. As a public institution, the primary purposes of CAFA Art Museum’s public education events are academic and beneficial to society.

(3) Party B will photograph all CAFA Public Education Department events for Party A.

II. Content, Forms of Use, and Geographical Scope of Use

(1) Content. The content of images taken by Party B bearing Party A’s likeness include: ① CAFA Art Museum ② CAFA campus ③ All events planned or executed by the CAFAM Public Education Department.

(2) Forms of Use. For use in CAFA’s publications, products with CDs, and promotional materials.

(3) Geographical Scope of Use

The applicable geographic scope is global.

The media in which the portraiture may be used encompasses any media that does not infringe upon Party A’s portraiture rights (e.g., magazines and the internet).

III. Term of Portraiture Rights Use

Use in perpetuity.

IV. Licensing Fees

The fees for images bearing Party A’s likeness will be undertaken by Party B.

After completion, Party B does not need to pay any fees to Party A for images bearing Party A’s likeness.

Additional Terms

(1) All matters not discussed in this agreement shall be resolved through friendly negotiation between both parties. Both parties may then sign a supplementary agreement, provided it does not violate any laws or regulations.

(2) This agreement comes into effect on the date that it is signed (sealed) and the relevant boxes are selected by Party A and Party B.

(3) This agreement exists in paper and electronic forms. The paper form is made in duplicate, with Party A and Party B each retaining one copy with the same legal efficacy.

Event participants implicitly accept and undertake all the obligations stated in this agreement. Those who do not consent will be seen as abandoning the right to participate in this event. Before participating in this event, please speak to your family members to obtain their consent and inform them of this disclaimer. After participants sign/check the required box, participants and their families will be seen as having read and agreed to these terms.

(1) Party A is the portraiture rights holder in this agreement. Party A voluntarily licenses its portraiture rights to Party B for the purposes stipulated in this agreement and permitted by law.

(2) Party B (CAFA Art Museum) is a specialized, international modern art museum. CAFA Art Museum keeps pace with the times, and works to create an open, free, and academic space and atmosphere for positive interaction with groups, corporations, institutions, artists, and visitors. With CAFA’s academic research as a foundation, the museum plans multi-disciplinary exhibitions, conferences, and public education events with participants from around the world, providing a platform for exchange, learning, and exhibition for CAFA’s students and instructors, artists from around the world, and the general public. As a public institution, the primary purposes of CAFA Art Museum’s public education events are academic and beneficial to society.

(3) Party B will photograph all CAFA Public Education Department events for Party A.

II. Content, Forms of Use, and Geographical Scope of Use

(1) Content. The content of images taken by Party B bearing Party A’s likeness include: ① CAFA Art Museum ② CAFA campus ③ All events planned or executed by the CAFAM Public Education Department.

(2) Forms of Use. For use in CAFA’s publications, products with CDs, and promotional materials.

(3) Geographical Scope of Use

The applicable geographic scope is global.

The media in which the portraiture may be used encompasses any media that does not infringe upon Party A’s portraiture rights (e.g., magazines and the internet).

III. Term of Portraiture Rights Use

Use in perpetuity.

IV. Licensing Fees

The fees for images bearing Party A’s likeness will be undertaken by Party B.

After completion, Party B does not need to pay any fees to Party A for images bearing Party A’s likeness.

Additional Terms

(1) All matters not discussed in this agreement shall be resolved through friendly negotiation between both parties. Both parties may then sign a supplementary agreement, provided it does not violate any laws or regulations.

(2) This agreement comes into effect on the date that it is signed (sealed) and the relevant boxes are selected by Party A and Party B.

(3) This agreement exists in paper and electronic forms. The paper form is made in duplicate, with Party A and Party B each retaining one copy with the same legal efficacy.

Event participants implicitly accept and undertake all the obligations stated in this agreement. Those who do not consent will be seen as abandoning the right to participate in this event. Before participating in this event, please speak to your family members to obtain their consent and inform them of this disclaimer. After participants sign/check the required box, participants and their families will be seen as having read and agreed to these terms.

CAFA Art Museum Publication Authorization Agreement

I fully agree to CAFA Art Museum (CAFAM) submitting to CAFA for publication the images, pictures, texts, writings, and event products (such as works created during participation in workshops) related to me from my participation in public events (including museum member events) organized by the CAFA Art Museum Public Education Department. CAFA can publish these materials by electronic, web, or other digital means, and I hereby agree to be included in the China Knowledge Resource Bank, the CAFA Database, the CAFA Art Museum Database, and related data, documentation, and filing institutions and platforms. Regarding their use in CAFA and dissemination on the internet, I agree to make use of these rights according to the stated Rules.

CAFA Art Museum Event Safety Disclaimer

Article I

This event was organized on the principles of fairness, impartiality, and voluntary participation and withdrawal. Participants undertake all risk and liability for themselves. All events have risks, and participants must be aware of the risks related to their chosen event.

Article II

Event participants must abide by the laws and regulations of the People’s Republic of China, as well as moral and ethical norms. All participants must demonstrate good character, respect for others, friendship, and a willingness to help others.

Article III

Event participants should be adults (people 18 years or older with full civil legal capacity). Underage persons must be accompanied by an adult.

Article IV

Event participants undertake all liability for their personal safety during the event, and event participants are encouraged to purchase personal safety insurance. Should an accident occur during an event, persons not involved in the accident and the museum do not undertake any liability for the accident, but both have the obligation to provide assistance. Event participants should actively organize and implement rescue efforts, but do not undertake any legal or economic liability for the accident itself. The museum does not undertake civil or joint liability for the personal safety of event participants.

Article V

During the event, event participants should respect the order of the museum event and ensure the safety of the museum site, the artworks in displays, exhibitions, and collections, and the derived products. If an event causes any degree of loss or damage to the museum site, space, artworks, or derived products due to an individual, persons not involved in the accident and the museum do not undertake any liability for losses. The event participant must negotiate and provide compensation according to the relevant legal statutes and museum rules. The museum may sue for legal and financial liability.

Article VI

Event participants will participate in the event under the guidance of museum staff and event leaders or instructors and must correctly use the painting tools, materials, equipment, and/or facilities provided for the event. If a participant causes injury or harm to him/herself or others while using the painting tools, materials, equipment, and/or facilities, or causes the damage or destruction of the tools, materials, equipment, and/or facilities, the event participant must undertake all related liability and provide compensation for the financial losses. Persons not involved in the accident and the museum do not undertake any liability for personal accidents.

CAFA Art Museum Portraiture Rights Licensing Agreement

According to The Advertising Law of the People’s Republic of China, The General Principles of the Civil Law of the People’s Republic of China, and The Provisional Opinions of the Supreme People’s Court on Some Issues Related to the Full Implementation of the General Principles of the Civil Law of the People’s Republic of China, and upon friendly negotiation, Party A and Party B have arrived at the following agreement regarding the use of works bearing Party A’s image in order to clarify the rights and obligations of the portrait licenser (Party A) and the user (Party B):
