On the morning of November 2, the Museum of Fine Arts of the Central Academy of Fine Arts grandly held the first 2024 meeting and exchange meeting between volunteers and the museum's leadership and the Ministry of Public Education. Nearly 80 volunteers' actively participated in the event. Since the re-recruitment at the end of June, the Art Museum has attracted hundreds of enthusiastic volunteers, and the number of volunteers currently on duty exceeds 260.

Han Wenchao, Secretary of the Party Branch directly under the Museum of Fine Arts, then spoke, expressing great importance to the work of volunteers and thanking them for their hard work. He revealed that the leadership team of the museum has held many meetings to actively explore the construction of a comprehensive system of volunteer training, management and protection, and is committed to creating better working conditions for volunteers, so that volunteers can grow and gain more while dedicating themselves.

She also talked about activities such as online learning resources and lectures designed to help the volunteers gain a deeper understanding of the various aspects of the museum so that they can better serve the audience and become a bridge between the museum and the public.

In order to assist the volunteers to be on duty as soon as possible, Mr. Wang introduced the current work of the guided tour assessment team of the Department of Public Education, the members of the assessment team and the specific contents of the work that each member is responsible for. For her part, Xiao Baozhen, Director of the Department of Public Education, introduced in detail the scope of the department's work, including the specific duties of volunteers in each section. According to the needs of the volunteers, the Public Education Department also invited experts and scholars inside and outside the museum to provide courses for the volunteers from exhibition planning to the appreciation of ancient, modern and even contemporary art works. In addition, in the future, we plan to arrange for volunteers to go to other art museums in Beijing for study and exchange, so as to expand their horizons and professional skills.
In the daily work of the museum, volunteer tour guides are an important bridge between art and audience. Through the enthusiastic guiding of volunteers, the stories and knowledge of artworks are conveyed to the audience, contributing to the public education of the Central Academy of Fine Arts Museum.

In addition to volunteers from the community, the Central Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA) Museum of Art has also joined forces with the Central Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA)'s Aesthetic Education and Innovation Society to engage CAFA students in guided tours of the museum, actively promoting aesthetic education and bringing youthful vitality to the museum.
