3月3日，在中央美术学院美术馆学术报告厅首播的电影《资本论》放映结束之后，晚上九点，由中国学者汪晖通过网络在线对话导演克鲁格。本活动的各主办机构负责人——中央美术学院美术馆馆长王璜生、北京大学视觉与图像研究中心负责人朱清生、伊比利亚当代艺术中心馆长及歌德学院院长安德斯分别致辞，并对即将开始的对话表示了非常大的期待。
对话由王歌女士拉开序幕，她首先针对电影《资本论》向导演克鲁格提出了问题，即克鲁格为什么主要采用蒙太奇这种手法，背后的想法又是什么。克鲁格表示电影中的片段是我们所需要的，作为电影人，所看到的事情也均是片段的，我们需要主动地组织这些片段，让它们产生关联。电影是没有终结的，它可以更加丰富。而汪晖对克鲁格认为自己仅是一种介入的观点表示认同，同时他也指出，在这个过程中，人的思考也变成历史的一部分，人的行动是自然历史的一部分，人类的历史也是自然的历史。生命始终延续着，大家都在用自己的力量书写着历史。
当谈到资本主义变异的运动时，汪晖举了十年之前印度复制中国经济特区的发展模式但最终失败的例子。他认为今天放映的《资本论》电影是克鲁格在和爱森斯坦、马克思、不同时空的人对话的结果。如果我们处在经济危机里，用文化、电影和艺术的方式去介入到这种危机中，电影作为一种考古学，在今天具有的政治和文化的意义。资本主义和未来的关系带有某种肯定性，比如今天这种远程对话，就是资本主义全球化带来的副产品，这种副产品成为克服资本主义的一种可能性。换个角度说，马克思资本主义的历史也是自然的发展史。
汪晖说：“今天，东西方世界都面临着政治形式与社会形式之间的脱节。为何20世纪时一度对立最为尖锐的两大体制在21世纪却产生了极为相似的问题？中国在加入全球资本主义的进程中产生了大规模的工人阶级，为什么在政治形式上没有代表性？当今政治的特征是：政府公司化、政党国家化、媒体政党化和政客媒体化。”他又将哈贝马斯的“公共领域理论”和意大利社会学家亚历山地罗·鲁索“去政治化”代入他所提出的“反媒体”的讨论中。他认为现存的阻力跟公共领域和媒体关系非常大，媒体的扩张并不代表公共领域的扩大。重新发掘公共性的任务时，反媒体可以促成面对面的讨论。汪晖认为，现在是一个非常特殊的、新的“连接、联合”的时候，对这个事实的认识是我们重新认识资本论的前提。可以说，现在出现了一种新的政治的可能。克鲁格说，讲述“资本论”背后跨越精神体态的意识场，让我们可以考古"泛体制”带来的错位调度及无数可能，未来的思考与合作会变的更具人性。
在谈到齐物论时，汪晖表示，人与物是平等的，物与物是平等的，人自身的各方面也是平等的，但这种平等的观念不等于说没有差异。还有有趣的一件事是克鲁格的新履历集的封面——中间是一个中国人，右边是折臂的维纳斯，左下角是伏尔泰，这些毫不相干的元素的碰撞完全是巧合的，克鲁格也表示是“很难得的”。
在最后观众提问的环节中，有一位观众提问了有关美学的政治与政治的美学的问题，这两个不太相同的思维，在今天的对话中是否达到了交流与融合。汪晖说，当我们提到政治这个词的时候，不仅仅是国家大事，也不仅仅是帝王将相的事情，是普通人、每一个人都可以介入的东西，这在中国历史里面有它的物质性。克鲁格导演也表示，政治是在我们生活中的，并不高于生活，也不单单是政府的事情，美学仅仅是认知的一种方式。
接下来还有几位观众对克鲁格和汪晖提出了一系列的问题，比如“克鲁格导演是否在制作这部电影时考虑到《资本论》在中国的传播和影响”；“马克思理论在中国产生的一种变异的可能”；“汪晖对'反媒体'的观点在中国的政治体下选择某种修正以至才能真正符合目前中国的现实”；等等，两位专家也均回答了相关问题。
活动结束之后，留给了观众无限的遐想与思考。这个被誉为马克思一生最伟大的主要理论著作，用它唯物史观的基本思想引导着我们。就像汪晖和克鲁格认为的那样，马克思资本主义的历史是自然的发展史，这部著作指导着我们社会主义国家的道路，也为我们公民指导着自我价值实现的目的。

Regarding their use in CAFA and dissemination on the internet, I agree to make use of these rights according to the stated Rules.

Article I
This event was organized on the principles of fairness, impartiality, and voluntary participation and withdrawal. Participants undertake all risk and liability for themselves. All events have risks, and participants must be aware of the risks related to their chosen event.
Article II
Event participants must abide by the laws and regulations of the People’s Republic of China, as well as moral and ethical norms. All participants must demonstrate good character, respect for others, friendship, and a willingness to help others.
Article III
Event participants should be adults (people 18 years or older with full civil legal capacity). Underage persons must be accompanied by an adult.
Article IV
Event participants undertake all liability for their personal safety during the event, and event participants are encouraged to purchase personal safety insurance. Should an accident occur during an event, persons not involved in the accident and the museum do not undertake any liability for the accident, but both have the obligation to provide assistance. Event participants should actively organize and implement rescue efforts, but do not undertake any legal or economic liability for the accident itself. The museum does not undertake civil or joint liability for the personal safety of event participants.
Article V
During the event, event participants should respect the order of the museum event and ensure the safety of the museum site, the artworks in displays, exhibitions, and collections, and the derived products. If an event causes any degree of loss or damage to the museum site, space, artworks, or derived products due to an individual, persons not involved in the accident and the museum do not undertake any liability for losses. The event participant must negotiate and provide compensation according to the relevant legal statutes and museum rules. The museum may sue for legal and financial liability.
Article VI
Event participants will participate in the event under the guidance of museum staff and event leaders or instructors and must correctly use the painting tools, materials, equipment, and/or facilities provided for the event. If a participant causes injury or harm to him/herself or others while using the painting tools, materials, equipment, and/or facilities, or causes the damage or destruction of the tools, materials, equipment, and/or facilities, the event participant must undertake all related liability and provide compensation for the financial losses. Persons not involved in the accident and the museum do not undertake any liability for personal accidents.
CAFA Art Museum Portraiture Rights Licensing Agreement
According to The Advertising Law of the People’s Republic of China, The General Principles of the Civil Law of the People’s Republic of China, and The Provisional Opinions of the Supreme People’s Court on Some Issues Related to the Full Implementation of the General Principles of the Civil Law of the People’s Republic of China, and upon friendly negotiation, Party A and Party B have arrived at the following agreement regarding the use of works bearing Party A’s image in order to clarify the rights and obligations of the portrait licenser (Party A) and the user (Party B):
I. General Provisions
(1) Party A is the portraiture rights holder in this agreement. Party A voluntarily licenses its portraiture rights to Party B for the purposes stipulated in this agreement and permitted by law.
(2) Party B (CAFA Art Museum) is a specialized, international modern art museum. CAFA Art Museum keeps pace with the times, and works to create an open, free, and academic space and atmosphere for positive interaction with groups, corporations, institutions, artists, and visitors. With CAFA’s academic research as a foundation, the museum plans multi-disciplinary exhibitions, conferences, and public education events with participants from around the world, providing a platform for exchange, learning, and exhibition for CAFA’s students and instructors, artists from around the world, and the general public. As a public institution, the primary purposes of CAFA Art Museum’s public education events are academic and beneficial to society.
(3) Party B will photograph all CAFA Public Education Department events for Party A.
II. Content, Forms of Use, and Geographical Scope of Use
(1) Content. The content of images taken by Party B bearing Party A’s likeness include: ① CAFA Art Museum ② CAFA campus ③ All events planned or executed by the CAFAM Public Education Department.
(2) Forms of Use. For use in CAFA’s publications, products with CDs, and promotional materials.
(3) Geographical Scope of Use
The applicable geographic scope is global.
The media in which the portraiture may be used encompasses any media that does not infringe upon Party A’s portraiture rights (e.g., magazines and the internet).
III. Term of Portraiture Rights Use
Use in perpetuity.
IV. Licensing Fees
The fees for images bearing Party A’s likeness will be undertaken by Party B.
After completion, Party B does not need to pay any fees to Party A for images bearing Party A’s likeness.
Additional Terms
(1) All matters not discussed in this agreement shall be resolved through friendly negotiation between both parties. Both parties may then sign a supplementary agreement, provided it does not violate any laws or regulations.
(2) This agreement comes into effect on the date that it is signed (sealed) and the relevant boxes are selected by Party A and Party B.
(3) This agreement exists in paper and electronic forms. The paper form is made in duplicate, with Party A and Party B each retaining one copy with the same legal efficacy.
Event participants implicitly accept and undertake all the obligations stated in this agreement. Those who do not consent will be seen as abandoning the right to participate in this event. Before participating in this event, please speak to your family members to obtain their consent and inform them of this disclaimer. After participants sign/check the required box, participants and their families will be seen as having read and agreed to these terms.
