Good News | "Blueprint Productive Force" was selected for the "2024 Support Program for Young Curators of National Art Museums" of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism"

2024-07-29

On July 18, 2024, the General Office of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism announced the notice of "2024 National Art Museum Young Curators Support Program Selected Project List", and the exhibition project "Blueprint Productive Force - The Expression of Futuristic Sense in Art" submitted by the Museum of Central Academy of Fine Arts was successfully selected. The exhibition project "Blueprint Productivity - Expression of Future Sense in Art" submitted by the Museum of Central Academy of Fine Arts was successfully selected. This exhibition is curated by Yi Yue of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, and is on display in Hall A on the third floor of the museum until September 1st.The National Art Museum Young Curators Support Program is an annual program organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism to cultivate and support young curatorial talents in art museums across the country, improve the ability of art museums to plan exhibitions on their own, and enhance the level of professionalism in art museums. The program encourages the curation of exhibitions based on 20th century Chinese art history and case studies of artists, art museum collections, or art resources in the region."Blueprint Productivity - The Expression of Future Sense in Art" is not only based on the research of contemporary art works in the collection and inviting a number of artists' representative works to participate in the exhibition, but also makes full use of the academic resources of the Museum of Art of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, and delves into the contemporary issues of art creation and art education. It also makes full use of the academic resources of the Central Academy of Fine Arts Museum to explore the contemporary issues of art creation and art education. On the one hand, the exhibition discusses technological interventions and media utilization, and on the other hand, it points to the feedback of art's perception of the unknown and the future world, as well as how art pioneeringly pushes us to look into a broader future. The exhibition is presented in four sections as follows: Introduction|Beginning with ImaginationThe exhibition begins with a painting, a plan and a film excerpt created around the construction of the Thirteen Tombs Reservoir. These works correspond to the construction site in progress, the bright future to come, and the social scene twenty years later, presenting the expression and imagination of the "productive forces" of literature and art creation during the period of New China's construction. When we start from the imagination of the past and look to its position twenty years later, in 1978, when the "National Science Conference" was held, Xu Yanbo created three prints in continuity with this opportunity, presenting art's view of "science and technology as productive forces," and The three prints present art's view of "science and technology as a productive force" and unfold the imagination of the unknown and the future.
